Prades is a town at the foot of the Catalan sacred
mountain of Canigou, a sub-district of Perpignan, where every summer
the famous baroque music festival takes place in
Pablo Casals.
A few kilometers from here, charming and typical Catalan towns hardly
touched by tourism may be discovered. Eus is a small town renowned for being
the sunniest place in France. Moltig-les bains, is another town
famous for its thermal spas.
A small town named Mosset, is famous
for being the smallest ski resort in the world. Villefranche of Conflent is a famous
town full of small shops, including local crafts ?,
also famous for the Vauban walls and a fortress protected by UNESCO.
